The client is a medium-sized contract brewery that produces and packages products for its clients. During warm weather months, the heat and humidity within the packaging area adversely affects the packaging process. The client requested an evaluation of the existing ventilation and to provide recommendations to reduce the heat and humidity.
Following review of the evaluation recommendations, the client requested that AVID revise the recommendations to include a ‘stepped’ approach. The recommendations were then broken down into 3 steps. Step 1 provided the least cost and greatest impact items. Each subsequent step proposed increasing costly tasks.
Upon issue of the stepped recommendations, the client requested that AVID provide a full cost estimate for each step. This was completed and included capital, equipment, material, labor, and operating costs.
Client successfully implemented the recommendations presented by AVID.
